As a young child I watched The Green Hornet , Nig fan of Kato and always wanted to train martial arts like he portrayed on the show. Yes I had a Lunch Box ;-)

Well many years later I did in fact begin training privatly with a friend of the family in the garage and back yard, kicks n sticks (ninchaku), practicing what he showed me, then locating a school. When I was 16 I began to train in a facility with an instructor fulfilling my dreams and continuing on to my Black Belt rank and beyond as an Instructor and Center owner, training with jeet kun do instructors and under the tutelage of many of Bruce's old students, then later competing on the tournament circuit, holding kickboxing titles, promoting fights and karate tournaments, acting in films and TV, performing stunts at live shows and becoming a professional bodyguard to stars, celebrities etc .....meeting Ms. Shannon Lee ..... telling her that her father was a true inspiration to me and my success.

The best thing was that it wasn't until 30 years later when I realized that KATO was in fact BRUCE LEE !! Then it all really HIT ME !

RIP Bruce Lee and all the best to the Lee Family!
